Cognizant links ServiceNow agents to its cross-platform AI accelerator

Enterprises can now unify their artificial intelligence operations as Cognizant integrates ServiceNow AI Agents into its Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator. The move creates a single orchestration layer designed to bridge the gap between third-party platforms, custom-built systems, and existing internal workflows without requiring manual intervention.

The integration addresses a critical bottleneck in corporate AI adoption: the tendency for agentic systems to function in isolation. Previously, companies faced significant engineering hurdles when trying to connect agents from different vendors, often requiring bespoke connectors for each application. By leveraging the Model Context Protocol, the Neuro AI platform can now discover and invoke ServiceNow agents automatically. This allows organizations to manage end-to-end workflows that span sales, finance, and supply chain operations within a unified environment.

According to IDC research, more than 70 percent of enterprises currently plan to deploy a mix of prebuilt, custom, and embedded AI agents. This fragmentation makes centralized governance difficult, but the new framework aims to simplify these deployments while maintaining existing security and audit logging standards. Cognizant’s accelerator, which is available as an open-source tool, allows teams to generate multi-agent pipelines from simple prompts or select from a prebuilt library of network configurations. By shifting from siloed agent management to an orchestrated model, firms can scale their AI capabilities while bypassing the costs of custom integration projects.
