Zoho CRM users can now automate SMS and WhatsApp communications directly through their existing workflows, following the launch of the MessageWhiz integration on the Zoho Marketplace. The platform, powered by MMDSmart, utilizes an AI-driven routing engine to manage delivery requirements for businesses operating in high-volume, global environments.

The integration allows teams to trigger real-time messages based on specific CRM events, such as new lead creation, status changes, or service interactions. By embedding these capabilities into automated workflows, companies can reduce manual communication tasks while maintaining consistent engagement across multiple messaging channels.

According to Pravin Arokyaraj Suresh, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Zoho, the collaboration provides businesses with specialized tools to extend their CRM functionality. Ira Cohen, Chief Strategy Officer at MMDSmart, noted that the move enables users to incorporate intelligent message routing into their established processes, ensuring critical timing and reliability for global operations.
