The partnership replaces fragmented insurance options with a multi-carrier model, allowing Suntex customers to secure policies tailored to specific vessel types and usage patterns. By integrating quoting tools directly into marina websites and on-site digital touchpoints, the program aims to reduce the friction typically associated with marine risk management. According to Bert Fowles, Vice President of Brand and Marketing at Suntex, the goal is to provide a single, consistent access point for comprehensive coverage across the company’s entire national network.
Tom Gresh, Yacht Practice Leader at NFP, noted that the collaboration leverages specialized marine expertise to ensure policies remain adaptable as owners' needs evolve. The program is currently undergoing a phased national rollout, with plans to expand its service features as it becomes a permanent fixture of the Suntex customer experience. This move marks a significant expansion of the Suntex Strategic Partner Network, which seeks to integrate third-party services directly into the daily operations of its premier boating facilities.
