The expansion marks the first major flavor update since the company launched in 2025. By introducing Blackberry and Pineapple, oHy aims to capitalize on seasonal demand for functional, low-calorie beverages during the summer months. These additions bring the brand’s total portfolio to six varieties, joining existing options like Strawberry Lemon and Cherry Lime.
Trent Hartwig, co-founder and CEO, characterized the move as a strategic step toward broader innovation within the functional hydration sector. He noted that the company’s proprietary hydrogen infusion process—which utilizes a magnesium-rich, non-GMO formula—is intended to provide a smoother mouthfeel compared to traditional carbonated waters. The product line remains free of sugar, calories, and artificial sweeteners, relying instead on USDA Organic fruit-derived flavors to differentiate its profile in a crowded market.
Beyond its online presence on Amazon, the brand has secured shelf space at Erewhon and continues to maintain a strong physical presence in Meijer stores across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky. The company, founded in 2024, positions its products as a cleaner alternative for consumers seeking recovery support and consistent hydration.
