Peroxide-cured silicone often suffers from byproduct migration, where residual initiators leach into drug solutions and cause premature yellowing. Ruixiang’s platinum-catalyzed process avoids this entirely through direct addition chemistry, producing no small-molecule residuals. This stability ensures the tubing remains clear during extended storage and repetitive autoclave sterilization, allowing for constant visual inspection of fluid lines.
To meet the rigorous demands of micro-catheter assembly and precision infusion, the company employs a vertical extrusion process that maintains inner and outer diameter tolerances to within ±0.02 mm. This gravity-assisted method prevents wall thickness inconsistencies that frequently disrupt flow rates in peristaltic pump applications. Production occurs within ISO Class 8 cleanrooms at the firm's 5,000-square-meter facility in Guangdong.
CEO Feng Zhen Huang noted that the company prioritized pre-certifying the line to reduce the lengthy qualification cycles typically faced by hemodialysis and cardiac assist procurement teams. The tubing arrives with full documentation, including USP Class VI status, ISO 10993 biocompatibility, and ISO 13485:2016 quality management certification, produced at an FDA-registered site.
