The accolade marks a significant milestone for the brand, continuing a three-year streak of international recognition across North America, Asia, and Europe. Previous honors include the 2024 Single Malt Whiskey of the Year at the USA Spirits Ratings and a similar title at the 2026 London Spirits Competition. Craft Irish Whiskey credits this performance to a multi-stage cask journey, which transitions from ex-bourbon barrels through Tawny Port, virgin Hungarian oak, and various Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
