Kris Kiser, president and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, emphasized that while the trade show remains a hub for testing heavy machinery and outdoor equipment, the social calendar is essential for industry cohesion. The festivities begin Tuesday, October 20, with a welcome reception at Churchill Downs' First Turn Club, featuring a performance by the Kentucky Derby bugler and trackside dining.
Wednesday shifts the focus to the downtown Fourth Street Live! district, where the band The Crashers will perform for show registrants. The new addition for 2026 is the Thursday evening takeover of Old Forester's Paristown Hall. Sponsored by Gravely, the event will feature local food, a bourbon tasting, and music by the Juicebox Heroes. Early bird registration for the full exposition is available for $30 until September 10, after which prices increase to $60 and eventually $120.
