The funding round, which included participation from various Nordic tech and e-commerce angel investors, arrives as the company scales its reach to approximately 60 brands, including VILLOID, HiFi Klubben, and Holzweiler. Currently, the platform processes 250,000 customer conversations every month. Unlike legacy systems that bolt on AI features, Mimir is designed as an integrated operations engine that understands specific product data, shipping logistics, and individual brand workflows.
CEO and co-founder Jørgen Vartdal Halse stated that the capital will be used to accelerate product development and double the company's headcount. Henrik Hatlebrekke, general partner at Sondo Capital, noted that the firm backed Mimir specifically for its technical foundation and the founders' ability to demonstrate real market demand in the competitive e-commerce sector.
