The company’s financial trajectory continues to benefit from its strategic shift to a 100% quota share arrangement with Markel, which allows Hagerty to retain full control over premium economics. This transition, while creating transitional costs of $189 million year-to-date, has fundamentally altered the firm's revenue reporting structure. Despite the accounting shifts, adjusted EBITDA climbed 43% to $257 million during the first nine months of the year, reflecting improved operational efficiency.
CEO McKeel Hagerty highlighted the company's success in deepening relationships with its 1.9 million policyholders, a 18% increase from the prior year. Bolstered by this momentum, the company now anticipates full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA to land between $305 million and $315 million. Hagerty remains focused on scaling its digital marketplace and event-driven membership model, even as it navigates the cyclical nature of the insurance industry and ongoing integration of its expanded risk-taking authority.
