Orange Taps Pricer to Digitize French Retail Network

French telecommunications operator Orange has commissioned Pricer to modernize its retail footprint with electronic shelf labels. The agreement spans 561 stores, marking a significant push to integrate cloud-managed pricing and product information across the operator’s physical locations over the next two years.

The project involves a comprehensive rollout of Pricer’s digital infrastructure, including hardware and cloud management via the Plaza platform. Beyond simple price displays, the system is designed to provide real-time updates and improve operational efficiency for store advisors. Orange confirmed the partnership following a series of successful pilot programs that demonstrated the technology’s ability to streamline commercial changes and offer better visibility for customers.

Fabrice Barnéoud, representing Orange’s consumer division, noted that the deployment is a core component of the company’s distribution strategy. Vincent Raulin, Sales Director for Pricer in France, added that the collaboration highlights the utility of their solution beyond traditional grocery retail. The implementation is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an initial target of 100 stores completed by year-end and the full project slated for conclusion in 2028.
