Häagen-Dazs Marks 50 Years in New York With Supermoon Bakehouse Collab

Häagen-Dazs Marks 50 Years in New York With Supermoon Bakehouse Collab

To mark a half-century since opening its flagship Brooklyn storefront, Häagen-Dazs Shops is partnering with the avant-garde Supermoon Bakehouse. The collaboration introduces a limited-edition dessert, the Ube, Vanilla & Cornflake Cookie Dazzler, blending classic ice cream with the bakery's signature unconventional pastry textures for a ten-day run across New York City.

Starting October 15, the specialty sundae will be available exclusively at 10 select Häagen-Dazs locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn. The dessert features a base of Madagascar vanilla ice cream layered with Supermoon’s vibrant ube glaze, crumbled honey-roasted cornflake, macadamia and white chocolate cookies, and crunchy honey joy clusters. The creation serves as a bridge between the heritage of the ice cream brand, which launched on Montague Street in 1976, and the modern, boundary-pushing pastry style of Aron Tzimas’s Lower East Side bakehouse.

To kick off the anniversary, the original Montague Street location will host a celebratory event on October 15. The first 50 customers in line are set to receive anniversary gifts, including $50 gift cards and the promotional Dazzler for $0.50. This partnership reflects a shift for the veteran chain toward viral, flavor-forward menu innovations. The Dazzler will remain on the menu through October 25, while supplies last.
