Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, the market provides a rare space for extended dialogue regarding the techniques and heritage behind hand-coiled pottery, jewelry, and paintings. Tickets are priced at $15 for a single day or $25 for the full weekend, with all proceeds supporting the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts’ mission to foster economic opportunities for Native creators.
Executive Director Jamie R. Schulze emphasized that the event’s smaller scale is intentional. By stripping away the crowds of the summer market, the organization aims to transform the act of purchasing art into an act of personal connection. Visitors are encouraged to explore the narratives embedded in each piece directly with the artists, ensuring that every acquisition carries the context of its origin and the legacy of its maker.
