Since co-founding the brand in 2020, Kershner has prioritized a hands-on approach to manufacturing. Holding a Master of Arts from London Metropolitan University, he works directly with master artisans to oversee the lifecycle of his pieces, from initial frame engineering to final hand-weaving. This commitment to detail previously earned the company a 20th Annual Hospitality Design Award for its Cozumel Club Chair.
Kershner’s inclusion in the list precedes a major milestone for the firm. On October 17, Azzurro Living will debut a high-profile collaboration with designer Thom Filicia at the High Point Market. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between interior sophistication and exterior durability. The collection launch will be accompanied by a panel discussion on October 18, featuring Kershner, Filicia, and House Beautiful editor Carisha Swanson at the brand’s Broad Hall showroom.
