Onshore Technologies Opens New Hampshire Facility to Bolster U.S. Supply

The Salem site is already fully operational, focusing on the assembly of custom electrical interconnects and electromechanical systems. By establishing a physical footprint in the Northeast, the Torrance-based manufacturer seeks to accelerate product lifecycles for clients who require high-reliability components, ranging from early-stage prototyping to full-scale production.

Leadership of the new operation falls to Joe Wilkinson, appointed as executive vice president and general manager. He is joined by Danny Mendez, who takes on the role of head of engineering, and Bill McGowan, formerly of TruForm Precision Manufacturing, who will serve as head of operations. This management team is tasked with scaling production capacity while integrating the company’s existing automation and digital manufacturing systems.

CEO Mark Wilkinson characterized the move as a commitment to advanced American manufacturing, emphasizing that proximity to regional customers is essential for mitigating supply-chain risks. The company, founded in 1992, has increasingly aligned its growth strategy with the broader industry trend of reshoring mission-critical production. The facility will cater to diverse high-stakes markets, including space technology, medical devices, and industrial automation, where technical precision and rapid turnaround times are essential for market viability.
