SKITTLES Debuts Gummy Crystals to Add Texture to the Rainbow

The product line arrives in two distinct varieties: Original, which includes strawberry, lemon, grape, orange, and green apple; and Tropical Splash, featuring fruit punch, pink lemonade, mango melon, pineapple, and watermelon. Mars Snacking developed the product to bridge the gap between traditional soft gummies and the rising trend of textured, crunchy candy.

Ro Cheng, Marketing Vice President of Mars Snacking North America, noted that the innovation serves as a direct response to consumer demand for dynamic, multi-textured treats. The rollout begins exclusively on TikTok Shop on November 2, where fans can purchase early-access bundles. Following this limited release, the candy will appear at select retailers before a full national expansion scheduled for 2027.
