By leveraging Workera’s simulations and psychometric testing, Pearson plans to move beyond traditional training metrics toward a model of verified, role-specific capability. This shift allows business leaders to map internal talent against specific AI-driven gaps, providing a direct link between learning investments and measurable performance outcomes. The Palo Alto-based firm, founded in 2019, currently serves high-profile clients including Accenture, ServiceNow, and the United States Space Force.
Workera’s 60-person team will transition into Pearson’s Enterprise Learning & Skills business unit upon the deal’s expected close in the second half of 2026. CEO and founder Kian Katanforoosh is set to join the Pearson leadership team to oversee the integration of these diagnostic tools. For Pearson, the acquisition serves as a strategic play to solidify its market position as corporate demand for verifiable, AI-fluent workforce planning reaches a critical inflection point.
