The recognition marks the second consecutive year PomeGran has led the telecom category in the Report on Business annual ranking. While the company’s growth rate shifted from the 557% reported in 2025, the firm continues to scale its digital infrastructure across Ontario and Quebec. This expansion is largely fueled by NIVO, the company’s consumer-facing brand, which has seen its subscriber base climb by 38% over the last 12 months.

Dr. Kalai S. Kalaichelvan, Chairman and CEO of PomeGran, attributed the sustained momentum to a long-term strategy of prioritizing sovereign digital infrastructure. By integrating fibre-enabled neocloud services and AI compute capabilities, the company aims to move beyond basic broadband provision. PomeGran’s physical footprint has grown by 43% in the past year, targeting remote, rural, and Indigenous communities that have historically lacked reliable high-speed connectivity. For the firm’s leadership, the objective remains bridging the digital divide by pairing infrastructure investment with localized service delivery.
