CEO Jared Wheat credits the brand's growth to a rigorous focus on flavor profiles, aiming to replicate the experience of ice cream parlor shakes. Despite record-high costs for whey protein isolates and hydrolysates this year, the company opted to absorb manufacturing expenses rather than raising retail prices, a move that prompted new retailers to stock the product. The current portfolio already includes distinct options like Neapolitan Ice Cream and Cinnamon Cereal, with Banana Split and Horchata recently joining the mix.

Beyond the latest flavor release, the company is preparing to launch a new category next month: Hydro Clear Precision Protein. This line utilizes Embedded Enzyme Technology to create a translucent, juice-like drink. By adjusting the pH levels and removing fats and lactose, the product departs from the traditional creamy texture of standard protein shakes. Hi-Tech operates four production facilities across Georgia and Pennsylvania, maintaining cGMP certification as it scales its distribution across major U.S. retail platforms.
