The litigation, Cooper v. Telmate, LLC, stems from a breach that occurred between August 11 and August 13, 2020, affecting individuals who utilized services like GettingOut and VisitNow. While Telmate denies any wrongdoing, the settlement aims to provide relief for those impacted by the unauthorized network access. Eligible class members may file claims for pro rata cash payments and reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses, capped at $5,000 per person.

To participate, claims must be submitted online or postmarked by December 21, 2026. This same deadline applies to those wishing to opt out of the class or file an objection.
