GPA Global Opens Immersive Luxury Packaging Atelier in Paris

Luxury brands often struggle to balance complex supply chains with the tactile, emotional demands of premium packaging. To bridge this gap, GPA Global is opening Le Studio on October 15, a permanent creative workspace at its Levallois-Perret headquarters designed for collaborative design, material experimentation, and trend forecasting.

Le Studio moves beyond the concept of a traditional showroom, functioning instead as an evolving atelier where brands can engage with physical materials and engineering teams. According to Isabelle De Maistre, Creative Director at GPA France, the space is built to facilitate the emotional aspect of luxury, allowing clients to test how light interacts with finishes and how packaging reveals impact the consumer experience.

The facility features dedicated zones like TrendVision, which tracks seasonal materials, and the Reveal Wall, an installation focused on the mechanics of unboxing. These physical tools complement GPA’s digital EnVision platform, offering a hybrid approach to product development. General Manager Kurt Dienel noted that the space intends to move collaboration away from rigid, calendar-based meetings toward a fluid, ongoing creative process that mirrors the workflows of high-end fashion houses. As luxury companies face increasing pressure to address sustainability and supply chain transparency, the studio will also host workshops to integrate these technical requirements directly into the early stages of design.
