His initiative followed his removal from Ed Sheeran’s stadium tour, a decision reportedly spurred by the rapper's vocal support for Palestine during a performance at MetLife Stadium. Macklemore has since invited public figures like New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to support the cause, emphasizing that the protection of Palestinian lives should transcend political disagreements. The funds are earmarked for six specific groups, including HEAL Palestine, the Gaza Soup Kitchen, and UNRWA.
