Decision Logic Launches Open Semantic Access for Restaurant AI

Restaurant operators often struggle to transform raw sales and inventory data into actionable insights, frequently waiting weeks for custom reports. Decision Logic is now bypassing that bottleneck by launching Open Semantic Access, a service allowing brands to feed their proprietary operating data directly into third-party AI tools without added fees.

The platform provides read-only access to back-of-house data, bundled with the semantic context necessary for AI models to distinguish between complex metrics like gross versus net sales or unit-level inventory measurements. By providing this metadata alongside the raw figures, Decision Logic enables operators to use existing AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini—rather than being tethered to a single vendor’s proprietary chat function.

CEO Keegan Conrey argues that companies should not have to pay to access their own data or wait for vendor-specific roadmaps to answer simple business questions. The company estimates this workflow shift can accelerate the path from inquiry to analysis by three to four times. Unlike competitors that may charge thousands in per-location fees for API or AI integrations, Decision Logic includes this access as a standard feature, allowing brands to scale their tech stacks without incurring mounting costs for every new restaurant opening.
