US Host Cities Unveiled for 2027 Women's Volleyball World Cup

The Honda Center in Anaheim is set to host the tournament's climax, holding the quarterfinal, semifinal, and final matches. This venue will act as a testing ground for the sport before it hosts indoor volleyball for the LA28 Games. Meanwhile, Omaha’s CHI Health Center Arena and the Kia Center in Orlando will manage pool play and the round-of-16 matches. Organizers selected these locations based on their existing infrastructure, fan engagement potential, and capacity to support a high-profile international tournament.

Beyond the court, the event marks a significant broadcasting shift. ION, the E.W. Scripps Company network, has secured rights for 17 days of coverage, including 19 live national broadcasts and 45 streamed matches. Craig Thompson, CEO of the WVWC27 Local Host Committee, emphasized that the tournament aims to cement volleyball's status at the pinnacle of women's sports. With the top three teams not yet qualified for the Olympics earning their spots, the tournament carries immediate consequences for the global standings, arriving shortly after the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
