RENPHO Expands Smart Scale Lineup Amid Rising GLP-1 Usage

As U.S. adults increasingly turn to GLP-1 medications for weight management, the need for granular health data beyond simple scale readings has intensified. RENPHO is responding to this shift by expanding its MorphoScan series, introducing two new models designed to provide detailed body composition metrics across diverse price points.

The company’s latest additions, the MorphoScan Aspire and MorphoScan Lite, join the existing Nova and Base models to create a tiered ecosystem of wellness tracking. This expansion comes as recent Gallup polling indicates that 11% of U.S. adults are now using GLP-1 medications, a significant increase from 3% in 2024. For these users, monitoring shifts in muscle mass and body fat percentage is becoming as critical as tracking total weight loss.

All four devices utilize 8-electrode, dual-frequency Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) technology to measure over 50 metrics, including visceral fat, metabolic age, and segmental muscle analysis. While the entry-level Lite ($129.99) focuses on basic tracking, the new Aspire ($169.99) introduces Wi-Fi connectivity and a larger display for more seamless data syncing. The flagship Nova remains the most advanced option, featuring voice-guided measurements and a full-color handle display, a tool already utilized by over 300 clinicians across the U.S. to help patients identify meaningful health trends.
