The integration connects the CookieYes platform to AI assistants, enabling users to execute tasks through simple natural language prompts. Whether checking the status of a banner or reviewing scan results prior to a marketing campaign, the server aims to streamline workflows by eliminating the need to toggle between multiple browser tabs. Agencies managing portfolios across various client sites can now query banner statuses across their entire roster in a single request.
Security remains a primary focus of the implementation. The server offers ten distinct tools, seven of which are read-only to ensure data integrity. The three functions capable of triggering scans or altering banner configurations require explicit user approval before execution. Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and the system is architected to prevent AI assistants from accessing sensitive information such as personal user data, billing records, or specific cookie values. Anvar T.K., CEO of CookieYes, noted that the move reflects a broader goal of simplifying consent management for the more than 2 million websites currently using the platform. The feature is available across all subscription tiers, including the free plan, and can be toggled off at any time by account administrators.
