Evans filed for separation from Eason on February 16, 2024, ending a six-year marriage marked by legal volatility. The tension boiled over last month when Eason allegedly breached no-contact boundaries during a visit intended for co-parenting. According to Evans, she summoned law enforcement to her residence to de-escalate the situation, yet authorities declined to press charges despite her presenting documentation of the standing order.
"I do take accountability to a certain extent, allowing him back in my life, but at some point, you have to grow up," Evans stated. This legal push arrives shortly after the dismissal of Eason's felony assault and child abuse charges on August 24. While the legal case has concluded, Evans remains focused on distancing herself from the associated public drama to prioritize the well-being of her children, including her son Jace, who is currently receiving treatment in a specialized facility.
