Alec Crawford, CEO of Verapath, emphasized that the system is tailored for entire firm infrastructures, prioritizing regulatory compliance and data governance. The technology draws on a decade of development at GenTrust, where the firm utilized a predecessor of the platform to manage its own advisory business. Jim Besaw, CIO of GenTrust, noted that the system is battle-tested and addresses the industry’s critical need for secure, centralized data control. VIRA is currently available for deployment to wealth management firms seeking to replace their multi-vendor point solutions.
