TCI Entertainment Partners with Globant to Scale Interactive Commerce

The collaboration provides a contractual framework for TCI to transition its intellectual property from a development phase toward full-scale commercialization. By integrating Globant’s technical resources, TCI intends to refine its platform, which is designed to embed transactional capabilities directly into digital experiences and interactive games. TCI President Harry McMillan noted that the agreement serves as a pivotal milestone, providing the foundational support necessary to scale the company’s vision while maintaining the integrity of its existing patent portfolio.

To safeguard its core assets during this expansion, TCI consulted with the law firm Greenberg Traurig. This legal oversight ensures that TCI’s trade secrets and issued U.S. patents remain protected as the company engages in joint development initiatives. Globant, which operates across more than 30 countries with a workforce exceeding 27,400 employees, brings substantial experience in immersive technology and digital transformation to the project. The partnership positions TCI to create new transactional pathways for retailers and game developers within virtual ecosystems.
