The legal battle, which began in 2022 when Scaglia attempted to remove Haart from the company they once managed together, concluded with Judge Jeffrey Pearlman awarding her 100% of the agency. Haart’s legal team successfully employed a forensic accountant to trace the flow of company capital, uncovering evidence that Scaglia had diverted millions to personal expenses, including luxury vehicles and high-end jewelry. Testimony from Scaglia’s former assistant proved pivotal in refuting claims that Haart had siphoned funds, effectively turning the court’s scrutiny toward the tech entrepreneur.
Beyond securing the modeling agency—which represents industry figures like Kendall Jenner and Adriana Lima—the judgment includes a nearly $10 million cash award. This total comprises $7.4 million in unpaid management fees accumulated between 2019 and 2021, alongside half the proceeds from a $2.97 million painting sale. The court’s findings determined that Scaglia’s systematic transfers of company money were significant enough to justify the total transfer of his shares to Haart. Reflecting on the outcome, Haart noted that the power dynamic had completely inverted: where Scaglia once claimed she held zero percent of the company, he now holds no stake at all.
