CTIA Pushes for 4 GHz Band Access to Bolster U.S. Wireless and AI

The 4 GHz band sits at the center of a growing national debate over spectrum policy. As China promotes alternative spectrum standards, the U.S. aims to consolidate support for the 4 GHz range, which is already backed by infrastructure in over 50 countries. Proponents suggest that existing techniques like repacking and coordination can clear this spectrum for commercial use while protecting vital government operations.
