Fountain 0 Releases Odysseus: The Fall as AI Film Benchmark

Fountain 0 has released Odysseus: The Fall, a 150-minute feature film generated entirely through artificial intelligence. Directed by Ash Koosha, the production aims to match the visual standards of major Hollywood cinema while utilizing a proprietary software engine that significantly reduces traditional production costs and timelines.

The project follows the studio’s recent success at the Tribeca Film Festival with Dreams of Violets, the first AI-generated, live-action film to secure a major festival premiere. Developed over four months, the new adaptation of Homer’s epic utilizes the Kling 3.0 video model to render complex supernatural elements and cinematic sequences. Ash Koosha, who served as the sole writer and director, maintains that his goal is to provide storytellers with a system capable of achieving high-end production quality without the traditional financial barriers of the film industry.

Executive Chairman Tom Rogers claims the studio’s proprietary software can now produce 10,000 films of this quality for the same cost as a single high-budget studio project. The film also integrates the likenesses of 13 real-life individuals, including the founders and figures like Sunny Hostin, as part of a broader strategy to license personal imagery for future productions. Interested creators can now rent the film for $9.99 via the studio's streaming portal, with an accompanying soundtrack available on Spotify.
