Managing childcare in recreational facilities often involves navigating a fragmented landscape of regulatory demands. Staff currently struggle with the manual tracking of attendance, medication, and federally funded meal programs, frequently using systems disconnected from their primary facility management software. By folding Alaris into its portfolio, Daxko intends to centralize this data, allowing operators to link childcare metrics directly with member and donor records.
Daxko CEO Jeff VanDixhorn noted that the acquisition is intended to reduce administrative burdens, freeing staff to prioritize child safety and engagement. Alaris will retain its standalone functionality for those using third-party management systems, while also being integrated natively into Daxko’s suite of products, including Club Automation and FitnessForce. This integration enables automated enforcement of staff-to-child ratios and streamlined reporting for state agencies. The combined teams are scheduled to demonstrate the new unified capabilities at the YMCA of the USA’s General Assembly in New Orleans this September.
