The acquisition brings Vyne Medical’s intelligent intake capabilities into the MRO ecosystem, addressing a critical bottleneck in health systems where essential information remains hidden outside the electronic medical record (EMR). By combining automated classification and extraction with human oversight, the company plans to streamline high-volume workflows while reducing the manual rekeying of data that currently burdens hospital staff.
Jason Brown, CEO of MRO, noted that capturing information at the point of entry allows providers to curate structured data before it enters clinical or financial workflows. This shift is designed to improve turnaround times and increase the visibility of patient data across disparate systems. Following the deal, Vyne Medical will operate as an MRO company, supporting a combined network of 35,000 clinics. The transaction excludes Vyne Dental, which remains with its original portfolio company, TJC, L.P. Financial details regarding the purchase were not disclosed.
