Borr Drilling Secures New Contracts and Rig Extensions

Borr Drilling Limited has hit a series of operational milestones, with the Odin rig beginning revenue-generating work offshore Texas. Simultaneously, the company secured a new three-well commitment in Vietnam for the Idun and locked in a nine-month contract extension for the Bestla rig with ENI in European waters.

The Odin commenced its contract on September 11, 2026, following successful mobilization and acceptance testing in the Gulf of Mexico. This marks a transition from mobilization to active dayrate earnings for the company's Americas operations.

In Southeast Asia, the Idun is set to begin a 130-day campaign in Vietnam during the fourth quarter of 2026. The contract, awarded by an undisclosed operator, will follow immediately after the rig's current obligations conclude. Meanwhile, in Europe, ENI has extended its tenure with the Bestla through September 2027, with an additional nine-month fixed-price option still on the table. Borr Drilling anticipates taking over operational management of the Bestla in the fourth quarter of 2026 upon the expiration of its current bareboat charter.
