USD.AI Secures $40M Stablecoin Debt Facility from K3 Capital

A new $40 million revolving credit line from K3 Capital will allow USD.AI to bridge liquidity gaps without leaving capital idle. By leveraging sUSDai as collateral, the protocol plans to deploy more funds into its lending products while maintaining the flexibility required for upcoming platform expansions.

The facility provides short-term credit specifically designed to support USD.AI’s three-year, monthly amortizing loans. By borrowing against sUSDai, the firm avoids the inefficiency of holding stagnant capital, ensuring a higher percentage of the pool remains actively deployed. This arrangement marks a deepening of the existing relationship between the two entities, following a similar $100 million agreement previously established with Bullish.

Kiril Nikolov, co-founder of K3 Capital, described the deal as a targeted response to market-structure inefficiencies. For K3, the initiative functions as a service for vetted protocols rather than a standalone transaction. David Choi, CEO of Permian Labs, the developer behind USD.AI, noted that the on-chain credit structure provides the necessary agility to support new product launches and broader platform growth as they continue to scale their AI infrastructure financing services.
