The Pajama Party-themed fundraiser, emceed by Jonathan Bennett and Melissa Peterman, transformed the venue into a high-energy gala where co-hosts Ashley Williams and Nikki DeLoach led the crowd in a night of music and advocacy. Founded by Kimberly Williams-Paisley, the event serves as a tribute to families navigating the complexities of Alzheimer’s. The evening balanced lighthearted performances from actors like Andrew Walker and Tamera Mowry-Housley with a poignant musical performance by Lindsey Gort, whose original song, "The Longest Goodbye," reminded attendees of the heavy toll taken by the disease.
Beyond the costume changes and choreography, the event secured critical funding for scientific research. With this year’s contribution, the initiative has surpassed $2 million in total lifetime giving. These funds are earmarked for diverse studies ranging from the genetic underpinnings of memory loss to innovative risk-reduction strategies. For Williams and DeLoach, who have both lost parents to dementia, the event is less about the party and more about the collective momentum required to reach a future where Alzheimer's is no longer a terminal diagnosis.
