The initiative follows internal research indicating that 39% of American users already perform manual verification of AI outputs via external search engines. The study further highlighted that 36% of respondents frequently encounter outdated information, while 19% struggle with entirely fabricated references. While designed for general social media and news consumption, the tool is expected to streamline workflows for journalists and researchers who currently spend hours manually reconciling multiple sources. Developed by AIBY, the feature is currently live on the web, with mobile updates for iOS and Android arriving shortly.
