The financing round was co-led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, Innovation Industries, and the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund. Alongside the capital injection, the company announced that Peter Wennink, the former President and CEO of ASML, has joined as Chairman of the Board. EUCLYD intends to use the funds to scale its engineering organization and accelerate the development of its flagship technologies: the craftwerk agentic AI silicon and the craftwerk station CWS, an exascale AI factory.
Founded by Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, the company aims to move beyond traditional hardware constraints. By integrating programmable ASIC compute with processor-memory co-design, EUCLYD seeks to lower the cost per token and reduce the environmental footprint of large-scale AI operations. The company plans to deploy these systems across enterprise, sovereign, and hyperscale markets, positioning itself to serve as a critical bridge between European semiconductor expertise and the global demand for efficient AI infrastructure.
