Elveo Mobile Taps Apex to Accelerate Satellite Constellation Production

The agreement positions Apex as a vertically integrated partner, providing Elveo with the technical blueprint and manufacturing expertise required to operationalize its own high-rate production lines. Elveo intends to use this initial facility as a prototype for subsequent expansion into European and Asian markets, creating a distributed global supply chain for its low-Earth orbit satellites.

Elveo CEO Ramu Potarazu stated the partnership provides a capital-efficient path to fleet development, granting the company control over its manufacturing costs and development trajectory. Apex, which currently maintains a production capacity of 200 satellite buses per year in Los Angeles, will assist Elveo in integrating its patented 3GPP-compliant technology into mass-produced platforms. According to Apex CEO Ian Cinnamon, this model is designed to deploy proliferated constellations years faster than traditional procurement methods.
