Zachary Karason Joins Prudential Advisors to Expand Cleveland Practice

Karason brings 12 years of industry experience to his new role, having previously held positions at Merrill Lynch, where he rose to assistant vice president, and U.S. Bancorp. His transition is part of a broader push by Prudential Advisors to attract experienced professionals to its open-architecture platform. John Begley, managing director at Prudential, noted that the move provides Karason access to enhanced planning tools and technology designed to streamline practice management.

For his part, Karason intends to leverage the firm’s infrastructure to offer more personalized, transparent financial guidance. The advisor, a Northwood University graduate, emphasized that the shift allows him to operate with fewer constraints, focusing on the education-based approach he established earlier in his career. Pat Hynes, president of Prudential Advisors, stated that the firm is prioritizing growth in the greater Cleveland market, providing the necessary support for Karason to scale his operations effectively.
