The platform, which recently secured $20 million in Series A funding led by Dell Technologies Capital and Square Peg, functions by analyzing CAD geometry against a manufacturer's specific tooling libraries and machine kinematics. By automating the sequencing of operations and toolpath generation, the agent reduces tasks that once consumed hours into minutes. Current production deployments at firms like Sandvik and Iscar demonstrate multi-operation programs being finalized in under five minutes.
Unlike systems that require a complete overhaul of digital infrastructure, the Limitless CAM Agent operates within Siemens NX, Mastercam, and PTC Creo. This design choice aims to address the industry's critical skills shortage by capturing the expertise of senior programmers and scaling it across the broader workforce. According to CEO David Priev, the objective is to standardize best practices and alleviate production bottlenecks rather than displacing human operators.
To meet the stringent security demands of aerospace and defense sectors, the platform is ITAR-compliant and supports deployment via AWS GovCloud or private VPCs. The technology holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, ensuring that proprietary manufacturing data remains secure. Limitless Labs will host live demonstrations of the agent at Booth 237605 during the IMTS exhibition in Chicago this September.
