The appointments arrive as GPC seeks to bridge the gap between burgeoning AI-driven power demands and constrained electrical grids. CEO Jim Summers noted that the new additions provide a specific blend of capital markets expertise and operational history required to navigate the complex intersection of energy and digital infrastructure.
Steve Jones joins the firm with a track record of raising over $4 billion in growth capital and guiding multiple successful IPOs and private equity exits. His role as CFO will focus on securing the financial foundation necessary for GPC to expand its Energy-as-a-Service model. Joining him on the board are Fran Federman, a veteran of CyrusOne and Ventas with deep roots in digital infrastructure capital allocation, and John Jensen, whose 35-year career includes senior leadership tenures at ConocoPhillips and EP Energy. This collective expertise is intended to steer the company as it deploys natural gas and battery power systems, bypassing traditional grid bottlenecks to accelerate project timelines for developers.
