The feature is encrypted by default, ensuring that callers maintain control, as they can terminate the feed at any moment.
Michael Martin, founder and CEO of RapidSOS, described the launch as a fundamental shift in emergency response capabilities. The company, which already facilitates similar technology in the United States, aims to standardize this data-driven approach globally. For emergency communications centers in Brazil, the tool is available at no additional cost as part of the existing Unite core modules. The system is designed to be dispatcher-controlled, allowing agencies to manage access roles and determine when visual verification is necessary for an effective response.
