The game, rooted in the storytelling traditions of One Thousand and One Nights, focuses on cooperative play for up to three users. Players navigate a handcrafted environment through both ground-based exploration and aerial traversal, utilizing a signature flying carpet system to engage in large-scale combat against mystical creatures. According to Daniel Engelhardt, CEO of MBC Game Studio, the title is a deliberate attempt to translate timeless Arabic folklore into a heroic, shared digital experience.
MBC Group Chairman Waleed Al-Ibrahim described the launch as a strategic evolution intended to diversify the company’s business model and tap into international markets. By assembling an international team with experience at established global studios, the company aims to merge regional cultural narratives with high-production-value gameplay. Mike Sneesby, CEO of MBC Group, noted that the initiative serves the group's broader ambition to transform from a regional broadcast leader into a global entertainment entity. Gamescom attendees are currently testing the title, which features drop-in, drop-out mechanics and combat sequences against colossal jinn entities.
