The platform automates the repetitive manual labor that consumes most of a drafter’s time, such as placing individual cabinets and adjusting parameters to fit wall dimensions. By integrating directly with software like HOMAG iX, Microvellum, and CabinetVision, the system allows an entire elevation to be exported in one pass. According to founder Rob Hull, the goal is to shift the burden of grunt work away from skilled staff, effectively doubling their productivity by allowing them to focus on custom items and material breakouts rather than basic assembly.
Refining the production workflow
Unlike general-purpose construction takeoff tools, MillworkSuite is engineered specifically for the millwork trade, handling everything from vanities and toe kicks to complex soffits. When a shop adjusts sizes during the estimating phase, those changes carry over automatically to the CAD export, ensuring that project data remains consistent. The platform also manages project revisions by grouping addenda against original sheets, helping shops identify changes before the drafting process begins. MillworkSuite is currently available in tiered subscription models, with live demonstrations scheduled for the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta from August 25 to 28.
