IDnow Trust Services AB successfully cleared a rigorous conformity assessment, meeting ETSI EN 319 401 and ETSI TS 119 471 standards with zero reported non-conformities. The process involved onsite audits and evidence reviews of its attribute proofing, technical issuance, and security lifecycle. The resulting report now rests with Sweden’s Post- och telestyrelsen for final inclusion on the EU Trust List.
Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes (QEAAs) allow businesses to verify specific data points—such as tax IDs, residential addresses, or professional certifications—in a machine-readable, legally recognized format. These attestations can be integrated directly into existing onboarding workflows or pushed to the EUDI Wallet. Johannes Leser, Managing Director at IDnow Trust Services, noted that current identity infrastructure remains inconsistent across Europe, leaving many firms unable to meet strict AMLR mandates. By combining identity verification and QEAA issuance into a single chain, IDnow provides an audit-ready alternative for companies unable to wait for the full-scale rollout of national digital identity ecosystems.
