The double-header at the Excel London circuit tested drivers across a unique indoor-outdoor layout, requiring precise tyre management as cars transitioned between smooth flooring and traditional asphalt. In Round 16, Wehrlein leveraged pole position to take the win ahead of Jake Dennis and António Félix da Costa. Although Wehrlein finished outside the points in the final race, his previous results were sufficient to hold off his rivals for the championship trophy.
Jaguar TCS Racing secured the Teams' World Championship, while the Porsche Formula E Team had already locked in the Manufacturers' title earlier in the season. For Hankook, the weekend served as a final showcase of the iON Race tyre, which supported the entire grid through the GEN3 and GEN3 Evo eras. Manfred Sandbichler, Senior Director of Hankook Motorsport, noted that the consistency of the iON product remained a cornerstone of their four-season partnership with the FIA and the teams involved.
Beyond the track action, the event highlighted the future of the sport through fan engagement initiatives, including the 'Make it Yours, Make it Race' AI helmet campaign. As the GEN3 era concludes, Hankook plans to integrate the data and technical insights gathered across diverse global circuits into its ongoing commercial tyre development programs.
