Duff Goldman Trades the Kitchen for the Stage in Debut Solo Tour

Celebrity baker Duff Goldman is swapping his signature apron for a microphone this fall, launching his first-ever live theater tour titled “Duff Goldman Presents: The Tao of Duff.” The 11-city production promises a mix of stand-up comedy, personal storytelling, and live culinary demonstrations, starting September 30 in Seattle.

The tour marks a departure from the Food Network star’s television roots, bringing his eccentric approach to baking into intimate venues across the country. Goldman plans to guide audiences through a narrative arc that spans from his great-grandmother’s escape from Cossacks to his early days in metal bands and the eventual rise of Charm City Cakes. The performances aim to strip away the polished production of his broadcast work, offering a raw, unfiltered look at his career.

Beyond the anecdotes, the show functions as a hybrid performance piece where Goldman will perform live baking feats, including stretching phyllo dough on stage. He promises to share stories that have never aired on television, leaning into the unpredictability of a live environment. Following the kickoff at Fremont Abbey, the tour moves through cities including San Francisco, Dallas, New York, and Chicago, concluding in Grand Rapids on November 13. Tickets for the run go on sale August 14, 2026, via the chef’s official website.
