A Tesco spokesperson described the shift as a necessary evolution to reflect the brand's position as a destination for affordable style. The new site is designed to offer a modern, inspiring shopping experience that simplifies how customers browse and discover new arrivals. This digital expansion follows a period of strong performance for the clothing line, which saw sales climb 5.1% to £1.2 billion for the year ending 28 February 2026.
The dedicated platform represents a strategic pivot for the retailer, which had previously moved its fashion operations onto the main Tesco website in May of last year. By separating the fashion arm, the company hopes to provide a more focused environment for its apparel business, which remains a core component of its in-store and online strategy.
