Greenland Energy currently holds a two-million-acre license in East Greenland and views the region as a frontier for long-term hydrocarbon development.
Management is now recalculating the logistical requirements of the project to align with the new timeline. Shareholders remain in a holding pattern as the company evaluates how this shift affects its broader exploration plans for the Jameson Land Basin, which represents the first modern onshore drilling effort in this part of the Arctic.
